Analysis and Bug Fixing on ASP Platform for CGIL

I worked on analyzing and resolving bugs and errors on a platform developed in ASP, adopting an indirect intervention approach due to limited access to the source code.

Activities Performed

Bug Analysis via Browser

• Identified reported errors through direct testing on the platform.
• Debugged anomalies without direct access to the source code, using browser developer tools to detect issues related to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Request and Analysis of Source Code for Affected Pages and Widgets

• Identified problematic code sections and requested the specific pages or widgets for correction.
• Analyzed ASP code and developed targeted solutions to eliminate bugs and improve system stability.

Bug Fixing and Optimization

• Applied patches to correct identified bugs.
• Optimized JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code to enhance functionality and cross-browser compatibility.

Results Achieved
