I designed and developed a tour booking website for Tuscany Day Tours, starting from a graphic design created with Adobe Fireworks. The website integrates advanced functionalities for managing reservations and online payments, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience.

Activities Performed

Website Design and Development

• Converted the graphic design into HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, ensuring a responsive and optimized layout for both desktop and mobile.
• Implemented a user-friendly interface to simplify the booking process.

Development of the Booking Form

• Created an interactive form allowing users to select the date, time, and type of tour.
• Implemented data validation in JavaScript and PHP, with notifications to facilitate correct information input.
• Developed real-time availability management, ensuring accurate booking updates.

Integration of PayPal Payments

• Configured the online payment system using PayPal’s sandbox environment to test transaction flows.
• Implemented secure transactions with direct integration into the website’s interface.
• Enabled automatic email notifications for both users and administrators after each successful transaction.

Creation of an Admin Panel for Booking Management

• Developed a restricted area to monitor bookings in real time.
• Designed an administrative dashboard with advanced filters to display confirmed, pending, or canceled reservations.
• Allowed manual management of payments and confirmations directly from the back-end.
