Main Activities

Code Analysis and Reverse Engineering

I conducted an in-depth analysis of the existing source code to identify and understand the issues affecting system performance:

• Study of the logical and functional structures of the code, written in ASP and PHP.
• Identification and documentation of system bugs, with an evaluation of their root causes.
• Bug resolution through targeted interventions in the code, ensuring system stability and reliability.

Data Migration

Following the debugging process, I performed a complex data migration to enhance performance and accessibility:

• Transferred data from a combined Oracle/SQL Server database to MySQL.
• Developed automated scripts for data conversion and transfer, maintaining data integrity and consistency throughout the process.
• Optimized database queries and MySQL structure to improve efficiency and system operations.

Results Achieved

• System Stability: Bug fixes restored the proper functionality of the website, enhancing user experience.
• Improved Performance: The migration to MySQL reduced response times and increased database scalability.
